It’s not Thanksgiving, but it is the end of a year during which I’ve had the chance to do new things and meet new people and live life fully.

And for that, I am thankful.

Thank you for being a friend, family, a lover or foe. Thank you for being someone I want to meet or someone I already know.

Thank you for being an inspiration, a questioner, a helper, a light. Thank you for writing, reading, creating, living, and putting up the fight.

Thank you for being someone that’s gone and has left their gifts. Thank you for being someone who inspired me and someone I’ll miss.

Thank you for seeing me through happiness, sadness, surprise and fear. Thank you for being for being someone in my life this year.

Thank you for ’08 and what may come in ’09 too. And most of all, Thank you for being you.
